Rule 43 . Issuance of Mandates

(a) Mandates implementing opinions of the Court will issue as a matter of course after the expiration of the time for filing a petition for reconsideration under Rule 31(a). In the event such a petition for reconsideration is filed, the mandate shall not issue until the Court takes action on the petition. In any case, the Court may order the mandate to issue forthwith.

(b) The effective date of any order shall be the date of that order, and no mandate will issue. The Clerk will furnish copies of all such orders to counsel of record and to the Judge Advocate General of the service in which the case arose.
