§43. Mileage of Senators
Each Senator shall receive mileage at the rate of 20 cents per mile, to be estimated by the nearest route usually traveled in going to and returning from each regular session.

Codification
Section is based on part of section 17 of act July 28, 1866. Provisions of section 17 which related to certification and mileage accounts were restated in R.S. §47, which is classified to section 48 of this title. Provisions of such act which related to compensation of Senators, Representatives, and Delegates were superseded by section 4 of act Feb. 26, 1907, ch. 1635,
