§11372. Grant assistance

The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall, to the extent of amounts approved in appropriation Acts under section 11377 of this title, make grants to States and local governments, and for Indian tribes,1 (and to private nonprofit organizations providing assistance to homeless individuals, in the case of grants made with reallocated amounts) in order to carry out activities described in section 11374 of this title.

Amendments

1990-Pub. L. 101–625 substituted "States and local governments, and for Indian tribes," for "States and local governments".
