§1344. Status of Conrail after sale

The Corporation shall be a rail carrier as defined in section 10102(19) 1 of title 49, notwithstanding this subchapter.

Section 10102 of title 49, referred to in text, was subsequently amended, and section 10102(19) no longer defines "rail carrier". However, such term is defined elsewhere in that section.
