§1580. Utilization of services and facilities

The Secretary is authorized, in carrying out this chapter, under the same conditions applicable under section 1579(c) of this title or to the extent permitted by law other than this chapter, to accept and use the services and facilities of departments, agencies, and establishments of the United States. The Secretary is also authorized to accept and use the services and facilities of the agencies of any State or political subdivision of a State, with its consent.

Repeal of Section

Pub. L. 105–220, title I, §199(b)(2), (c)(2)(B), Aug. 7, 1998, 112 Stat. 1059 , provided that this section is repealed effective July 1, 2000.

Amendments

1992-Pub. L. 102–367 substituted "under the same conditions applicable under section 1579(c) of this title or to the extent" for "and to the extent".
