§1635. Transfer of funds

A service delivery area may transfer up to 20 percent of the funds provided under this part to the program under part C of this subchapter if such transfer is approved by the Governor.

Repeal of Section

Pub. L. 105–220, title I, §199(b)(2), (c)(2)(B), Aug. 7, 1998, 112 Stat. 1059 , provided that this section is repealed effective July 1, 2000.

Amendments

1994-Pub. L. 103–227 substituted "20 percent" for "10 percent".

Effective Date

Section effective September 7, 1992, see section 701(e)(1) of Pub. L. 102–367, set out in an Effective Date of 1992 Amendment; Transition Provisions note under section 1501 of this title.

Transfers of Allocations for Summer of 1992

For provisions authorizing a service delivery area to transfer up to 10 percent of amounts allocated for such area for summer of 1992 under this part for program year 1992 to provide services to youth pursuant to program under part A of this subchapter, to provide services to youth under such part A, see section 701(e)(2) of Pub. L. 102–367, set out in an Effective Date of 1992 Amendment; Transition Provisions note under section 1501 of this title.
