§1751. Labor market information; availability of funds
(a) Publicly accessible labor market information system
The Secretary shall set aside, out of sums available to the Department for any fiscal year including sums available for this subchapter, such sums as may be necessary to maintain a comprehensive system of labor market information on a national, regional, State, local, or other appropriate basis, which shall be made publicly available in a timely fashion.
(b) Availability of funds for State labor market information
Funds available for purposes of this part shall also be available for purposes of section 1535 of this title (relating to State labor market information).
(c) Funds available from other programs
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, funds available to other Federal agencies for carrying out chapter 35 of title 44, the Carl D. Perkins Vocational Education Act [20 U.S.C. 2301 et seq.], and the Act of June 6, 1933 (popularly known as the Wagner-Peyser Act) [29 U.S.C. 49 et seq.], may be made available by the head of each such agency to assist in carrying out the provisions of this part.
