, providing for the supervision of functions, powers and duties of Federal agencies and employees in carrying out the provisions of act Apr. 30, 1946, as amended, by the United States High Commissioner to the Philippines, until the Philippines attained their independence, was omitted, independence having been granted to the Philippine Islands by 1946 Proc. No. 2695, eff. July 4, 1946, 11 F.R. 7517, 60 Stat. 1352, which was issued under the authority of section 1394 of Title 22, Foreign Relations and Intercourse, and is set out as a note under section 1394 of Title 22.

, provided for the transfer of functions under act Apr. 30, 1946, as amended, from the High Commissioner to the Philippines to such United States representative or representatives as the President might appoint on and after the date the Philippines attained their independence.
